These are all the Kiss lineups up until today. Courtesy Kissfanshop.de January 1973 - May 1980  Paul Stanley - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Peter Criss - Drums/Vocals Gene Simmons - Bass/Vocals Ace Frehley - Lead Guitar/Vocals After conclusion of the "Dynasty" Tour in 1979 Peter Criss quit KISS. His departure would not be official until 1980. July 1980 - December 1982  Paul Stanley - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Eric Carr - Drums/Vocals Gene Simmons - Bass/Vocals Ace Frehley - Lead Guitar/Vocals Peter by this time would be out of the band. Not happy with the direction of the band, Ace would follow. Ace's picture would appear on the Creatures of The Night Album even though he would already be replaced by Vinnie Vincent. January 1982  Paul Stanley - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Eric Carr- Drums/Vocals Gene Simmons - Bass/Vocals Not yet officially gone from the band, Ace did not show up to the Studio 54 show. The following lineup was just for one show. December 1982 - April 1984  Paul Stanley - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Eric Carr- Drums/Vocals Gene Simmons - Bass/Vocals Vinnie Vincent - Lead Guitar Vinnie Vincent joined Kiss during the Creatures Of The Night recording. Vinnie Vincent became the “Egyptian Warrior" with Paul getting the credit for designing the Ankh makeup. He left at the end of the Lick It Up tour do to personality and contract conflicts. May 1984 - April 1984  Paul Stanley - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Eric Carr- Drums/Vocals Gene Simmons - Bass/Vocals Mark St.John - Lead Guitar Mark St.John would replace Vinnie. Mark would only play 3 shows with Kiss until getting arthritis in his hand. Bruce Kulick would replaced Mark and the band continued. September 1984 - September 1991  Paul Stanley - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Eric Carr- Drums/Vocals Gene Simmons - Bass/Vocals Bruce Kulick - Lead Guitar This would become the most stable lineup of the 80's. Unfortunately Eric Carr died of Cancer in 1991. October 1991 - March 1996  Paul Stanley - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Eric Singer - Drums/Vocals Gene Simmons - Bass/Vocals Bruce Kulick - Lead Guitar Eric Singer would replace Eric Carr during the recording of God Gave Rock And Roll To You 2. This lineup would last until the 1996 reunion tour. March 1996 - August 1996  Paul Stanley - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Eric Singer - Drums/Vocals Gene Simmons - Bass/Vocals Bruce Kulick - Lead Guitar Ace Frehley - Lead Guitar/Vocals Peter Criss - Drums/Vocals The following lineup would be just for the "Unplugged" show. June 1996 - January 2001  Paul Stanley - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Peter Criss - Drums/Vocals Gene Simmons - Bass/Vocals Ace Frehley - Lead Guitar/Vocals The Reunion Tour became the biggest tour of the year. Afterwards a new studio album Psycho Circus would be released. The Psycho Circus Tour would follow. A Farewell Tour would be next to come. During the last leg of The Farewell Tour, Peter would leave once again. Eric Singer would replace him wearing the catman makeup and costume. February 2002 - October 2002  Paul Stanley - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Eric Singer - Drums Gene Simmons - Bass/Vocals Tommy Thayer- Lead Guitar At this point Ace left the band once again. Tommy Thayer was brought in as a replacement wearing Ace's makeup and costume. This lineup played 3 shows (Jamaican privet party, American Bandstand 50th Anniversary, That 70's Show). October 2002 - February 2004  Paul Stanley - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Peter Criss - Drums/Vocals Gene Simmons - Bass/Vocals Tommy Thayer - Lead Guitar Peter returned to the band and Kiss went on to doing a Symphony show, Mini Tour in Japan, Vegas Club show, and then joining with Aerosmith to co headline the 2003 tour. Tommy Thayer would now become the "official" member of the band while still sporting Ace’s makeup and costume. Kiss would do a costume switch by wearing the refurbished Alive costumes.
February 2004 - Paul Stanley - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Eric Singer - Drums/Vocals Gene Simmons - Bass/Vocals Tommy Thayer - Lead Guitar At the end of the World Domination Tour, Peter would leave again. Eric was brought once again to replace Peter while wearing his makeup and costume.
